While working in ever-changing, fast-paced environments as a seasoned human resource director, certified executive coach and change leader, Heather has been developing business leaders for over 20 years. Working with Fortune 500 brands, Marriott and Nordstrom, her work focused on creatively devising strategies and leading initiatives for leadership development, performance improvement, change management and organizational culture transformation.
She has supported businesses through periods of major change and growth, including expansion of iconic brands and multi-unit franchise into new markets. Heather considers the full scope of a company and its people, and is dedicated to creating vibrant workplaces that are more innovative, focused and engaged.
A strong advocate for personal and professional development opportunities, Heather’s influence extends to her volunteer work, as an interim coach with Training Futures Workforce Development Program, a six-month program providing training for administrative positions.
Heather is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and is an accredited Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF). In addition to running Culture Fuel Group, she is a founding partner in the full-service property restoration company Pure Restore, based in Northern Virginia.
